Earthworks questions we get asked
Can't see yours here? Call us or send through the details of your job.
How much does earthworks cost in Perth?
Every job is priced on the site. The things that move the price most are the size of the area, how much soil has to be cut, filled or carted away, how steep the block is, how easy it is to get machines and trucks in, what is under the surface (rock, roots, old footings) and what materials are needed. Send us the suburb, a rough size and a few photos and we will give you a free quote.
How long does a house pad or site cut take?
It depends on the block. A pad on a flat, open site is a much quicker job than a sloping block that needs a cut, a retaining wall and spoil carted away. We will give you a timeframe with the quote and let you know early if weather or site conditions change it.
What size machines do you have?
The fleet runs from compact ASV and Kubota Posi Track skid steers for tight residential jobs up to excavators, a dozer, graders, rollers, water carts and articulated dump trucks for bulk earthworks. Side tippers, end tippers and a low-loader float move material and plant between sites. The full list is on our fleet page.
Can you get machines into a tight backyard or narrow side access?
Usually, yes. Our Posi Track and ASV skid steers are compact tracked machines built for tight access. When you ask for a quote, tell us the narrowest point of the access and send a photo if you can, and we will match the machine to the site.
What areas do you cover?
All of Western Australia. We are based in Perth and do most residential work across the metro area, the hills and surrounding rural blocks, and we mobilise anywhere in the state for civil and mining project work, including the Pilbara and Goldfields.
Do you supply materials and take the spoil away?
Yes. We can supply and deliver materials to site, including recycled asphalt, and our own tippers cart spoil away so you are not left with a pile of dirt on the verge.
Can you do the whole job, or just the digging?
We can do the lot: earthworks, drainage and soakwells, retaining walls, concrete, kerbing and driveways. One crew can take a site from bare block to ready for the builder, so you deal with one contractor and one quote.
